Nature in the Classroom
Funds of Knowledge and Nature-Based Play
We create an environment tailored to different learning needs, following the standardized curriculum from the government and integrating Universal Design Learning (UDL) and Funds of Knowledge. Our multi-sensory approach encourages learning through meaningful connections to the home and the natural world.
Tree Planting as Service to the Community
We integrate tree-planting as a service component to education that engages children to learn about trees, take action against climate change, and protect the environment. Our program involves purchasing saplings and then teaching children how to properly care for the trees they have selected. By participating in this service, preschool aged children can make a real impact on their environment and learn how to protect against soil erosion.
